This is a replica of the Time Screwer used by Gary Claybender to twist the very fabric of time itself during one of his adventures. He then promptly forgot about the Time Screwer, which would have absolutely helped him in every subsequent adventure.

Since this is a shoddy replica, it won't actually let you twist time, but it's still got a decently powerful magical field around it.
